New Mexico Symphony Orchestra

The southwest's premier orchestra has a long-standing legacy of presenting classics, pops, & education programs in this area of the country. The New Mexico Symphony Orchestra is also committed to educational activities and to serving its multi-cultural environment through its performances audiences of more than 130,000 annually. The orchestra performs its formal programs at the University of New Mexico's Popejoy Hall while over half of their performances every year take place in Albuquerque area neighborhoods, schools, and in various New Mexico communities as part of their touring program. The orchestra is also well known for its Bank of America Under the Stars series at the Rio Grande Zoo.

KiMo Theatre

The iconic KiMo Theatre is an architectural masterpiece of elaborate Pueblo Indian ornamentation with its famous Von Hassler murals. Recently renovated, the KiMo boasts newly-restored artwork in the theatre auditorium and lavish reconstructions of the original proscenium arch and main curtain which returns the theatre to original Picture Palace Era magnificence. The KiMo Theatre is a vibrant part of the performing arts community and plays host to thousands each year who come to partake in the wide variety of dance, drama, film, comedy, performance art, multimedia events, and other unique performances all take place on the KiMo stage. Additionally, the KiMo houses an exhibit space for contemporary visual artists.

Albuquerque Museum of Art and History

Experience the native art and culture of the Southwest through the vast art collection of The Albuquerque Museum. The exhibits concentrate on works by regional artists, both contemporary and historical while the collections include major holdings of paintings by the Taos Society of Artists as well as works by members of the Cinco Pintores and the Transcendental Painting Group. The museum is also fortunate to include works in all media by national and international artists as well. The museum’s elegant sculpture garden is also available for viewing year round.

Albuquerque Little Theatre

The Albuquerque Little Theatre has added the element of community theatre to Albuquerque for over 75 years. The company provides family-friendly entertainment and education programs for patrons of all ages and all are welcome to audition to participate in this vital organization.

Andrews Pueblo Pottery and Art Gallery

Located in Old Town Albuquerque, Andrews Pueblo Pottery and Art Gallery offers exquisite Native American art and pottery including baskets, fetish carvings, jewelry, and beadwork from local artisans as well as some pottery created by potters from Mata Ortiz in Mexico.
